Mary Ann Wentworth Brown Williams is credited by family genealogists (notably E.H. Williams III and IV) with designing the Vertmont State seal, as well as several county and probate seals. (According to Wikipedia, the seal was designed by Ira Allen.)

Norman was valedictorian of the first graduating class of the University of Vermont on August 18, 1810. He was a regristrat of Probate for the Hartford district of Vermont. He was Secretary of State of Vermont from 1823 to 1831.
