Jean Adeline Williams was born in Minersville, PA on June 4, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Edward H. and Gladys (House) Williams, III. Jean grew up and graduated high school in Woodstock, VT. and attended Marot Junior College in Thompson, CT.

Jean was a civilian employee at the Pentagon, and lived in Arlington, VA. After she retired, she returned to Woodstock and took over her parents home along with her brother Ned (Edward). Later she moved to Cromwell, CT where she lived in an apartment above her brother-in-law Sewall T. Butler. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, a member of the House of Talents in Middletown and was active in DAR and Order of the Eastern Star in Woodstock, VT. She had two brothers, Rev. Edward H. Williams, IV, C. Richard Williams and a sister Jacqueline Williams Butler.

Jean died at the age of 91, on November 16, 2008 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT.
